Rep. Gill Fights for President Trump’s Agenda During First 100 Days
Washington, D.C. — Congressman Brandon Gill (R-TX) today applauds President Trump for unleashing his America-first agenda during his historic first 100 days back in office. Rep. Gill has fought tirelessly to deliver the legislative backup President Trump needs to fulfill the mandate of the American people.
“President Trump has done more for Americans in his first 100 days in office than Joe Biden ever did in four years. He is unequivocally the greatest president of my lifetime, restoring common sense putting American citizens first,” said Rep. Gill. “President Trump is doing his job. Now it’s up to House Republicans to do ours. Texas families are on the frontlines of the border crisis, and Congress must act with urgency to make President Trump’s border policies permanent. The future of Texas—and America—depends on it.”
Since the start of the 119th Congress, Rep. Gill has introduced bold legislation to codify President Trump’s policies and back his agenda from the legislative branch.
- Among his signature efforts, Rep. Gill introduced the REMAIN in Mexico Act to permanently codify one of President Trump’s most effective border security policies.
- As a member of the newly created DOGE Committee, Rep. Gill is working alongside President Trump to hold bureaucrats accountable, eliminate wasteful programs, and defund radical taxpayer-funded outlets like NPR and PBS.
- Rep. Gill is fighting for President Trump’s agenda through budget reconciliation from his position on the House Budget Committee, working to secure wins for the American people through one big beautiful bill.
President Trump’s America First economic policies are delivering for Texans in the 26th District and across the state:
- Abbott Laboratories announced a $500 million investment in its Illinois and Texas facilities.
- Paris Baguette committed to a $160 million investment to build a manufacturing plant in Texas.
- LGM Pharma unveiled a $6 million expansion in Rosenberg, Texas.
As Congress moves forward, Rep. Gill underscored that the top priority must be locking in President Trump’s policies permanently—whether it’s safeguarding our sovereignty or rooting out waste and weaponization in the federal bureaucracy.
“Our top priority in Congress should be to codify every one of President Trump’s Executive orders into law,” emphasized Rep. Gill.
